Ferrari 365 GTS U.S. Version

This Daytona engine was pulled from our Daytona Spider restoration project car and tested before being rebuilt. This is a good representation of an average US model Daytona engine. Look at how the restrictive US model headers hurt the top end
power. A leakdown test showed some cylinders were on the wear limit. The power seems to be close to that calculated from contemporary magazine road tests, so it’s believable.
