This engine project was part of a complete restoration that Carobu performed on a 308 GTS. We applied our Stage II 3.5-liter (358RR) package to this carbureted 2-valve 308 engine. The ultimate goal for the motor was to make a smooth running, powerful version of the engine that remain virtually stock in appearance. The result was over 100 additional horsepower over stock as well as a generous increase in torque. These changes succeeded in bringing the performance of the 308's engine into modern day expectations. No more Honda Civics shaming the 308 during a stoplight drag race! The all stainless Tubi exhaust and Euro-spec headers not only perform great, but they sound amazing. Check out the dyno video to see and hear the results.
