328 3.5-liter

Originally, the owner had installed a supercharger kit to increase performance. After several burned pistons, we received the engine for a rebuild.  Designed as a “sleeper” engine, this 328 retains the stock Ferrari/Bosch CIS-E fuel injection and ignition systems. Built with special Razzo Rosso 85mm steel sleeves/forged pistons and the new RR358 78mm stroke crankshaft, this engine displaces 3.5 liters. The cylinder heads were suitably modified for more flow with oversize intake valves and manifold matching including plenum modification. Camshaft selection was critical and a CIS friendly grind was picked after considerable engine simulation work. This is a great street engine - smooth and powerful.
